Since its renovation was completed in 2014, the Hippodrome de Lyon-Parilly now has infrastructure and facilities that are better suited to the organisation of events. It has direct access to the A43 motorway and the T2 tram, as well as a large free car park.
Since 2014, the Parilly racecourse has had renovated grandstands, with a 150-cover panoramic restaurant and various lounges at the top.
In 2023, Lyon's racecourses were awarded the EquuRES Progression label, enhancing their investment in sustainable development and animal welfare. The EquuRES label corresponds to level 2 of the Environmental Farm Certification (CEEA), also known as HVE 2, and is currently the only environmental quality initiative in the equine sector recognised by the French Ministry of Agriculture.
