The Fabulous Canteen is an anti-waste restaurant in Lyon 7, located near the Jean Macé metro station in the heart of the Cité Etic Hévéa of the 7th district of Lyon. They purchase unsold organic/reasoned products and transform them into creative cuisine.
La Fabuleuse Cantine is shaking things up and breaking the rules of traditional dining!
Every morning, the chefs craft a menu inspired by the harvests of the local producers. This ensures a cuisine that is both delicious and environmentally friendly.
By day, the space operates as a café and restaurant, serving up a vibrant and flavorful daily menu. Then, from 6 PM, it transforms into a lively bar with happy hour and an evening menu to share… or not.
Bonus: the special nights from Thursday to Saturday! Expect Latin jam sessions, Brazilian music, DJ sets, and even comedy clubs.
And on Sundays, enjoy a seasonal brunch from 11 AM to 3 PM! On the menu: an all-you-can-eat buffet, seasonal, local, and homemade.
La Fabuleuse Cantine is a bit of a hidden gem, just steps from Place Jean Macé—ready to delight those lucky enough to find the place. And in summer, the terrace is the perfect spot to mix remote work with a little sunbathing!
