The Fabulous Canteen is an anti-waste restaurant in Lyon 7, located near the Jean Macé metro station in the heart of the Cité Etic Hévéa of the 7th district of Lyon. We purchase unsold organic/reasoned products which we transform into creative cuisine.

La Fabuleuse Cantine is shaking things up and breaking the rules of traditional dining!
Every morning, our chefs craft a menu inspired by the harvests of our local producers (all within an 80km radius). This ensures a cuisine that is both delicious and environmentally friendly.
We’re open from Tuesday to Sunday, with hours adapted to each day!
By day, our space operates as a café and restaurant, serving up a vibrant and flavorful daily menu. Then, from 6 PM, it transforms into a lively bar with happy hour and an evening menu to share… or not.
Bonus: our special nights from Thursday to Saturday! Expect Latin jam sessions, Brazilian music, DJ sets, and even comedy clubs.
And on Sundays, come enjoy a seasonal brunch from 11 AM to 3 PM! On the menu: an all-you-can-eat buffet, seasonal, local, and homemade.
We’re a bit of a hidden gem, just steps from Place Jean Macé—ready to delight those lucky enough to find us. And in summer, our terrace is the perfect spot to mix remote work with a little sunbathing!
