Welcome to Hanuri Korean Grill, a traditional Korean barbecue restaurant located in Lyon’s 6th arrondissement. Every bite invites you on a sensory journey to the heart of Korea, where conviviality, tradition, and a passion for cuisine come together.
In a modern and welcoming atmosphere, Hanuri invites lovers of Asian cuisine to enjoy the authentic Korean barbecue experience: guests cook and carve their own meat directly on the grill situated in the centre of the table. A wide selection of exceptional marinated meats (Angus, Wagyu, Black Angus, etc.) is on offer, along with numerous traditional Korean side dishes (the ‘banchans’ 반찬, small marinated and fermented vegetables such as the famous kimchi 김치), which are generously replenished throughout the meal.
A wide range of vegetarian dishes completes the menu, ensuring an experience accessible to all. Finally, a fine selection of wines, champagnes and Korean drinks enhances the experience and perfectly complements each grilled dish.
Founded by Seun-Kyong YOU — originally from Korea — with the help of her children, her mother and her aunt, who are themselves restaurateurs in Seoul and Busan, Hanuri was conceived as an invitation to come together and share special moments with friends, family or colleagues. A warm and welcoming place where you can get back to basics.
