Following several months of works carried out during France’s first lockdown, ‘Les Terrasses’, the spacious dining room of the Relais & Châteaux establishment Villa Florentine, is unveiling its new glazed terrace.
Under the guidance of Chef David Delsart (one star in the 2020 Michelin Guide), and with its new glazing offering diners a panoramic view, Villa Florentine will further improve the gastronomic experience it offers its guests. Diners at Les Terrasses can now enjoy lunch and dinner with a stunning view over Vieux Lyon (Lyon’s old town) all year round, an experience which was previously only possible in summer.
The dining room will now be bathed in sunlight thanks to the glazed terrace. Built using a technological concept that is unique in France, it is fitted with sensors that adjust the tinting of the windows according to the strength of the sunlight. Heated glazing has been added to the facade for the colder winter months.
Les Terrasses can now be enjoyed for business lunches and dinners come rain or shine.
