The Welcome by ONLYLYON special welcome scheme for business events was introduced in 2008 by the City of Lyon, the Convention & Exhibition Bureau and their partners, providers of business tourism services.
Its aim: to improve and optimise the welcome for people attending major events.

The key points of the Welcome by ONLYLYON scheme:
- Special event welcome and direction signs:
- at Lyon Saint Exupéry airport.
- at Lyon-Part-Dieu train station - Signs in public transports.
- Personalised welcome in hotels.
The advantages of this scheme:
- To facilitate access to event venues and transport through dedicated signage in strategic locations and on typical routes taken by visitors (stations, airports, public transport services etc.), with welcome desk in the event's colours.
- Offering attendees a personalised welcome, with a tourist information point on the event site and dedicated welcome signage in hotels.
- Reinforcing your event's communication and visibility.
Our Welcome By ONLYLYON plan is eco-friendly. Materials used are recyclable.
Every year, around fifteen events meeting the selection criteria benefit from the "Welcome by ONLYLYON" scheme.
